Moonies is currently celebrating its 20th year of being your favorite bar in Ithaca NY! Although there have been multiple owners and plenty of renovations and changes throughout the years, we are proud to say that Moonies is now better than ever! In the past 2 years, our amazing staff, has transformed Moonies into more of a high energy and fun, club-like atmosphere, while still keeping part of the vintage tavern feel intact. Space has been largely increased with the addition of a dance floor in early 2010, which allows people plenty of space to party and dance! We have also renovated and expanded the bathrooms, the back and front bar areas, added flat screen TV's, and installed a one of a kind Bar Top! The new and unique bar top is made from custom concrete that features hundreds of fiber optics set inside of the stone that illuminate the entire bar! DJ's rock the dance floor 5 nights a week (Tues-Sat), and we still offer darts, a pool table, and lounge areas. We take great pride in getting to know our patrons and are here to show them a wonderful experience each and every visit!
